On June 1st, Amiga published the latest installment of the ongoing Club Amiga Monthly series. In this update, CAM sports features like the new version of AmigaDOS, AmigaOS 4.0 progress and more.

Yes it does. If it helps in a shell windows type:
"ed s:shell-startup"
that should then load and open a window which should contain a version string and some "Alias" lines. Under one of these type:
Alias cd.. /
Alias del delete
Save the file, close ED. Close the shell you had open, then open another one.
You should now be able to type "cd.." to get to the parent directory, just like you do in MSDOS. You will also be able to delete things with the "del" command, also just like MSDOS.
