Guido Mersmann just made a new version of his lowlevel.library Gameport driver where he added
some cool features like Amiga/CatweaselPCI joystick support and fixed
some small bugs.
The new version can be downloaded from the Amithlon-Homepage!
BUGFIX:
Fixed QueryKeys() function, which was the only not implemented in may test tool which helped
(thanks to Murphy) to keep this bug undetected. (reported by Chris S Handley)
FEATURE:
GamePortEnable now supports "VT82C686 Audio Codec 97" game ports. Fixed problem with non Amithlon IO addresses.
FEATURE:
Added Amiga port support. Added Catweasle support. Selecting the game port is now more comfortable.

Gameport driver v41.27 with Amiga/CatweaselPCI joystick support is online : Comment 37 of 43 | ANN.lu |
Posted by Stephane Desrosiers on 08-Jun-2003 03:40 GMT | Anyway back on topic. :)
I've switched to this version of the lowlevel.library for use with my Pegasos. The game pad support works great (well, gameportfind doesn't seem to work in either the previous or this version, and in order to get it to work I need to manually type in the address which I can no longer seem to do with the current Prefs).
Anyway, I'm running into some issues with the catweasel support. :)
I've got CD32 game pads that I would like to use via the catweasel. At the moment the prefs is only popping up with a single button, and the pad seems to stick at a resting position of the top left corner as well. I've tweaked the settings and I can make the blue square change positions just fine but it never rests in the center.
Is there anything I can do at the moment? ;)
Thanks... |
