new powerfull version of Cyborg`s SPAMkiller released.
It has a success rate of 70% , which increases by selflearning!
Easy to use and install.
Thanks to all who used AntiSPAM 1 and produced more than 3.500 SPAMentries to
work with. We now have a weapon against SPAM which works with YAM
and maybe with SimpleMail as well.
Remember to add new Spams to our database to increase the successrate!

AntiSPAM 2 released : Comment 11 of 11 | ANN.lu |
Posted by Cyborg on 26-Jun-2003 03:50 GMT | In reply to Comment 10 (Stephane Desrosiers): If you don`t tell me whats your problem, i can`t help you :)
why it does not work?
1. false directories used, use yam:incoming/ and yam:WHATEVER.U.LIKE.BUT.ADD.THE.SLASH/
2. Antispamd not signaled, antispamd started? ( Must come up with Graphics and load bar )
How to Debug?
SIMPLE!
stop yam, stop antispamd if running.. use bin/stopAntiSpamD
open a shell
enter: antispam2 DEBUG yam:incoming/ yam:spam/ whitelist=yam:antispam2.whitelist score=8
Antispam should load up or give you an error about not finding his libs... ( hope oyu installed them too )
last Message should be "WaitPort()"
use a second shell to run "bin/signalantispamd"
Now antispam should search for spams, if just "END LOOP" was written
you give the false DIRECTORY to antispam...
if something like "can`t rename blah to blah" the second directory is false and a spam could not be moved.
....
BTW: I don`t read ANN.lu much often , if you wanne more help, have problems
or something else, pls use mail. I know have a clear inbox :) |
