Genesi announced that the G4 upgrade card, mounted with the Motorola 7447 processor, will be available for the Pegasos next month.

Processors don't necessarily linearily scale within their lines let alone across lines. My guess is the G4 is 10% faster in real world tests. Now if the Amiga had a recompile of FPU libraries to detect and use Altivec we may see some big improvements between the G3 vs G4 machines.
