AmigaWorld.net has posted three new screenshots of AmigaOS4. Various well known classic Amiga titles including SnoopDOS and DirectoryOpus are shown running while using the new highly customizable interface and anti-aliased fonts. For today 'AmigaOS 4 on Tour' events are planned for Austria and Sweden.
Earlier this week I wrote a report of last week's Swiss event.

Latest Official AmigaOS4 screenshots : Comment 3 of 45 | ANN.lu |
Posted by z5 on 28-Jun-2003 06:16 GMT | Look closely at that active window in snap 3 (with dopus):
it has 3 different looks for 4 window borders. The left border (which shows how much space used) has a somewhat flat look to it, meaning that there is no gradient used. Looks very different in style from the one at the right side. Both the bottom border and right border look ok. But then, the top border looks completely different again, using what seems to be another blue (especially going towards the bottom of the border).
Also i hope that the arrow in snap1 is something which is not finished yet and there seems to be no consistency in snap1. Gradient used on the sliders and others, but not on the buttons. It looks quite a mess in there. But it appears that this was not finished.
But looking better and better each time!! |
