At the recent Pegasos-presentation at the central station in Leipzig, Germany, also Mandrake 9.1 was shown on the Pegasos, installed using Michael Heider's Image-Installer.

Typical RMS bull, with RMS trying to muscle in and gain credit where none is due (primarily because his HURD project still has got nowhere).

Just because gcc is used to compile code does NOT make it a GNU product - Linux can easily exist without any GNU tools.

You know what? Our Solaris systems at work havr the GNU suite of tools installed on them too. Does that mean we are running GNU/Solaris?

My Amiga (RIP) had the GeekGadgets GNU suite upon it. I don;t ever recall running GNU/AmigaOS though...
