At the recent Pegasos-presentation at the central station in Leipzig, Germany, also Mandrake 9.1 was shown on the Pegasos, installed using Michael Heider's Image-Installer.

Hurd is what RMS and co have been working on for many many many years as the "GNU" kernel.

They still haven't got very far, and have been overtaken by Linux (which is why RMS insists on calling Linux GNU/Linux). It is doubtful if Hurd will ever get anywhere.
