The AmigaOS 4.0 Powerpoint presentation that was displayed in Montlaur on saturday the 5th is now available.
This document was displayed to the amigans in Montlaur, France last saturday. It is a snapshot of the work in progress on AmigaOS 4.0.
We hope this will help you understand what was realised, and what still needs to be done.
Please note that the list of PPC modules is growing everyday (and I mean everyday : This morning we received icon.library).
The file is available as a PowerPoint presentation (original file), a PDF file, and a set of JPEG images.
This is a french document, so please feel free to translate it.

French AmigaOS On Tour presentation available : Comment 26 of 70 | ANN.lu |
Posted by Johan Rönnblom on 07-Jul-2003 14:06 GMT | Normally I don't care if people use Photoshop, 3dStudio, Illustrator
or whatever that gets the job done. Reality is that the best apps are
often not available for Amiga. But.. Powerpoint? First of all, it has
to be one of the worst programs ever made. I've never seen a
Powerpoint presentation that didn't look embarrasingly unprofessional.
Then of course, this is one of the few areas when it can be said with
certainity that the Amiga can do better - even if you use 10 years old
software. |
