I see you didn't get Linux to work with the gfx card?

Is this a new Radeon, 8x00 or 9x00 series? In that case, you'll need at least XFree 4.2.1 or 4.3.0 respectively, the version that comes with Debian Woody only supports the 7x00 cards.

Upgrade to linux kernel 2.4.21 from sourceforge, then upgrade your Debian to testing or unstable and install the proper X version (4.2.1 is in both testing and unstable, 4.3.0 is on penguinppc.com, for unstable).
