As he says in some of the interviews, in the begining they were only going to go for a totally emulated system. That probably *would* have taken a "few months". At this stage, we are getting the 4.2 spec in OS4. But, what it boils down to is that they are doing this on a limited budget however I think even with that, by now, they *do* have an "almost ready" OS. So, the "ready before Christmas" I would conclude is accurate now.
