There is always some plausible-sounding explanation for delays.<sarcasm>And I am sure, at AmiWest 2004, Ben will tell us how they had to change their whole approach because the responsiveness of the Xmas-2003 OS4 wouldn't have been good enough, and how as an added benefit, lots of OS4.5 features are already in OS 4.0</sarcasm>Once again, I have no problem with Hyperion having a certain attitude (in this case, "OS4 must never be perceieved to be more than 6 months away"), for commercial reasons. I just don't understand how, after 21 months of this, people can still take Ben even remotely serious.
