WinUAE-Kaillera enables users of this great emulator WinUAE to play head-to-head and cooperatively over a TCP/IP network, such as the Internet. For this it uses the Kaillera engine, a program developed specifically for enabling emulators to achieve netplay. Hi,

As I can't find any news related to this wonderfull idea, I post it here.

WinUAE-Kaillera best supports games which have two or more (up to eight) players on the visible screen at any one time, including many of those that work split-screen.

The Amiga platform is not short of these types of games, there are literally hundreds like: Kick-Off 2, International Karate +, Cabal....

Get Kaillera-WinUAE to play your favorite games against a human...

I don't think it costs money, but they don't respect licenses at all.
Their version of MAME violates a few clauses in the license & yet they don't care. It seems to be quite fashionable though, as someone is putting round a version of MAME that can play beatmania that violates the license as the source changes aren't supplied ( beatmania runs on hardware that MAME already supports but it needed the hard drive hooked up etc ).
