Acid64 is a windows-based SID-player that now supports the soundchip of the Catweasel MK3. The author Wilfred Bos has released the software as Freeware on his website www.acid64.com. In windows-terms, it's a fairly small program at about 200K size. It does not require a complicated installation procedure, because it's a single file.

In reply to Comment 4 (Jens Schönfeld):
Wonderful announcement, but the last time I checked, the "A" in ANN refers to Amiga not Windows. Unless this author made the sources available for possible porting to the Amiga platform, therefore making it a benefit to the Amiga community I don't see any reason why this "new Windows software announcement" should be here.

Feel free to correct me if this author has, in fact, released the sources. Personally, I can't be bothered to fill my webcache with drivel about software for a platform I (and others) have no interest in and has no place being here to begin with.
