Not worth the extra work needed to compile it, not to mention the production cost. There just isn't enough fresh quality material to fill a monthly CD, so you'd end up with 90% dross and re-distributed stuff.

Yes? If the choice is between a good result using Linux or Mac and a poor result using an Amiga, absolutely.

> We're here because we think WE have the best tech for any purpose.

You having a laugh! That hasn't been true for over a decade, and it most certainly isn't true now. To be honest, there aren't many puposes for which Amiga technology is the best any more, and that includes the new systems and software. We're playing catch-up. It's a fact of life we have to learn to deal with, and I don't think sticking our heads in the sand and screaming loudly that we are still the best is the way to do so.

@Daniel Miller

I agree, provided the end result does not suffer because of it. If you end up with an inferior result by using Amiga or MorphOS software rather than something else, you are not advertising strength, but weakness.

"It might not be very good, but it's workable" is not a winning slogan.

If the Amiga developers want people to use their software to produce magazines, presentations, videos etc., they had better produce the BEST software available, not just on the Amiga, but on any platform.
