A _lot_ of people bought them because they were cheaper, but since it lacks onboard sound codec and has a soldered on CPU it is at a disadvantage, so I don't imagine they're selling a lot at the moment. It's not called "cancelled" if a product reaches the market and later gets replaced by a better board (the Lite was supposed to be the new SE, but instead will have a replaceable CPU). It's called "obsoleted".
