As pointed out by AmigArt, Richard Drummond (of AmigaFormat fame) has updated the Linux version of UAE to match the very latest WinUAE.
Check out the ppc versions for the Debian distro running on your A1, Peggy or Blizz/CyberPPC!

Hi All

Thanks for all positive feedback.

> Does this one allow me to use my SFS formatted Amiga Hd?

No, not yet (and probably not any time soon). You would be able to use FFS-formatted partitions on an Amiga disk - if you have a Linux kernel with RDB and FFS support compiled in.

> ... or a MorphOS PPC version perhaps? ;-)

I don't have access to MorphOS - so, no, I can't do this. I do plan on getting it building on AmigaOS again, though (which may help if anybody does want to work on a MorphOS version).

> Doesnt compile here... gcc 3.2....

Yes. This is a known problem. It won't currently build as is on the x86 with gcc 3.x (although you can work around the problem fairly easily). However, if you have gcc-2.95, but it's not your default compiler, you can configure with

CC=gcc-2.95 ./configure --with-sdl-gfx --with-sdl-sound

(or whatever options you prefer).

I will be fixing support for gcc 3.x fairly soon.

> I imagine there will be a few bugs to sort out.

Oh yes! ;-)

Cheers,
Rich
