According to Hans-Jörg Frieden, AmigaOS 4 SDK beta preview is to be released to Earlybird owners just before Christmas.
Reading some comments, it seems Amiga OS 4 beta is to be released, and it should include the final SDK.
Complete with autodocs, include files, compilers, binutils and some sample code, altough at the moment, without an IDE.

AmigaOS 4 SDK to be released to Earlybird owners : Comment 121 of 184 | ANN.lu |
Posted by Anonymous on 25-Nov-2003 04:23 GMT | In reply to Comment 120 (pixie): As long as the top leadership contines to slag each other off in public, users will see themselves as entitled to do the same. This applies to everything from Bill Buck and Ben Hermans little games to things like this lawsuit - that should have been handled in private, and any results reported after the judicial decision. The problem with these "grassroots campaigns" is that users will continue the fight long after those who started them want to stop. Witness Bill Buck's repeated statements (personally and via employees like Wayne) to stop the fighting, they will continue to be ignored (look at Greenboy, he's quite clearly in the "blue camp" but seems happy to keep the flames stoked even though Bill doesn't want that any more). The only way this will end is either if the platform becomes wildly popular and enough new users drown out the bitter old "combatants", or by the sinking of both platforms because people just refuse to cooperate with "the other camp". |
