According to Hans-Jörg Frieden, AmigaOS 4 SDK beta preview is to be released to Earlybird owners just before Christmas.
Reading some comments, it seems Amiga OS 4 beta is to be released, and it should include the final SDK.
Complete with autodocs, include files, compilers, binutils and some sample code, altough at the moment, without an IDE.

AmigaOS 4 SDK to be released to Earlybird owners : Comment 153 of 184 | ANN.lu |

I'm surprised that you are surprised. I mean, a Genesi employee complaining at the competition's ability to deliver, did you really expect to get away with it without beeing flamed from here to all the way up in the dark mines of West Virginia? Puuuhlease!
AmigaOS4 will be delivered when it's done. Just because they will deliver a beta version of it to Earlybird owners does still not mean that they have made it a public beta like MorphOS used to be. Nothing new here and no reason to start whining about the delivery date of AmigaOS4 since their policy to release it whenever it's done remains. Move along now, people. |
