According to Hans-Jörg Frieden, AmigaOS 4 SDK beta preview is to be released to Earlybird owners just before Christmas.
Reading some comments, it seems Amiga OS 4 beta is to be released, and it should include the final SDK.
Complete with autodocs, include files, compilers, binutils and some sample code, altough at the moment, without an IDE.

AmigaOS 4 SDK to be released to Earlybird owners : Comment 63 of 184 | ANN.lu |

I have seen *none* "stomping" in this thread, only valid questions. Why do some people allways see questions as something bad and evil instead of a chance to get a discussion going?
Well, I knew that someone would be offended by Waynes questions. They were only questions and they quite valid IMO. In essence:
1. What exactly is a "SDK beta preview"?
2. A "beta" of a Software Development Kit is NOT suggesting that OS4 itself will be done by Christmas?
Since then, the main post has been edited to contain the following:
[ Reading some comments, it seems Amiga OS 4 beta is to be released, and it should include the final SDK. - CK ]
... which answeres some of the questions. Besides, you shouldn't be surprized that questions like this pops up when there are such vague and unclear communication from the Amiga Inc trio on these things.
Ben Hermans grumpy question "Or the equally msytical beast called "Pegasos I G4 module"?" was the first post in this thread that comes even close to any "stomping", but this question was just so ridiculous so nobody could possibly have taken offence anyway. |
