Developers for plugins and further software for HD-REC are welcome. I forwarded these news from amiganews. Some info from the homesite of HD-REC HD-Rec is a powerful MIDI/audio sequencer for Amiga OS. It combines comfortable MIDI notation with extensive audio editing within the same application, running always 100% synchron. To achieve this, HD-Rec takes full advantage of the AHI system for audio and the CAMD system for MIDI input and output. Features: Very user friendly and intuitive to use 16 bit / 11.025-96.0 kHz non-destructive audio recording & editing, not limited by RAM Audio realtime effects (reverb, delay, chorus, compressor...) I, for one, would LOVE this program even in 16-bit....let's not forget that for about TWENTY YEARS *all* professional audio was done in 16-bit....and a lot of that is still AMAZING when it comes to the final test (the consumer's ears). In fact, most people cannot tell the difference between 16 and 24 bit audio....and 16 bit audio is still being used in many home studios, semi-pro studios, and even some pro studios. C'mon, yes, 24-bit audio is great, but 16-bit audio is pretty DARN GOOD. Jump... Top Previous comment bottom
