Not yet, that is. It makes no sense for Hyperion to talk about OS4 for Pegasos mainboards while OS4 is still unfinished (even for the A1). But when that hurdle is taken, I wouldn't be surprised about a complete u-turn. The A1 hardware alone will simply not generate enough sales for OS4 and tapping into the Pegasos user base must be tempting. The good thing for Amiga Inc and Hyperion is that they do not have a big investment in hardware (poor Eytech does). Genesi, on the other side, could not afford to promote the A1 by selling MorphOS for it since they want to sell boards more than software. |
