We are very happy to let you all know that Alan Redhouse will visit us at the AmiGBG 2004 fair. Alan will tell us about what is happening around the AmigaOne hardware and what we can expect further on this year.
PayPal has been integrated into the ticket ordering system, so it´s now possible to pay your ticket in an easy way if you live outside Sweden. We celebrate this by having a DVD movie lottery among those who pre-pay their AmiGBG 2004 tickets!

AmiGBG Update: Eyetech & Paypal : Comment 177 of 303 | ANN.lu |
Posted by takemehomegrandma on 30-Jan-2004 11:19 GMT | In reply to Comment 173 (f. h.): I have allways dreamt about a fast NG system ever since my A1200 was beginning to feel a little old, so I must have taken that blue "dream"-pill, because I am living in that dream now (better that than the nightmare reality others has been living in these years)!
:-P
Look, I don't want to force my views onto others. I have no problems in respecting your "OS4 or nothing" attitudes, that's your problem, I don't care. My comments in this thread was NOT about your choices or preferences.
It was just that I had been looking forward to going to a show that I thought would be interesting. I would of course have had a look at OS4 (in whatever current state at that time) as well. However, the arrangers of the show choosed purpously to exclude the main things I am interested in, for no other reasons than some strange cultish beliefs of religious character. THAT'S what my posts were about. Disappointment that AmiGBG so bluntly took a chance of saying "Zieg Apartheid" instead of saying "this community is small as it is, we need UNITY now". The last years shows, even the "OS4 on tour" and "OS4 on Micro A1" shows has shown an alarming low attendance. And excluding the bigger, *alive*, part of the community from a show is hardly a way of bringing *more* visitors to their exhibitors' booths, is it. Not my problem, but what annoys me the most is that this actions has *no logic* grounds whatsoever, it's all because of some stupid religeous beliefs. It could so easily have been different!
JesOS4! Amen! Zieg Apartheid!
(BTW, just out of curiosity; What Amiga product will be here tomorrow?) |
