We are very happy to let you all know that Alan Redhouse will visit us at the AmiGBG 2004 fair. Alan will tell us about what is happening around the AmigaOne hardware and what we can expect further on this year.
PayPal has been integrated into the ticket ordering system, so it´s now possible to pay your ticket in an easy way if you live outside Sweden. We celebrate this by having a DVD movie lottery among those who pre-pay their AmiGBG 2004 tickets!

They would have found someone. I know that for sure.
> Also, it's up to the organisers to decide whom they invite i guess
Of course! And it's up to the visitors to decide which shows they visits.

So you feel that their stance is "unrelated to their colors, believes or whatever"? Well, perhaps ...
Look, all I wanted to say is that the numbers of visitors has constantly dropped on all shows during these last years. No matter where in the world. On all show reports we see comments like "the show was interesting, but where were the visitors?". And those shows targetted *the whole* Amiga market, not just one part of it.
I was really thinking of going to that show this year. It's a long and expensive travel for me, but I was thinking that it would be kind of worth it to see some unreleased betas of MorphOS, perhaps see those 3D radeon drivers in development, the Video Microwave, etc, etc. MorphOS products, games and applications, both from Genesi and 3rd party companies. And while I was there I would of course liked to have a look at OS4 too! Maybe do some quick comparisons between MorphOS and OS4 myself (there is nothing like a first hand experience in this regard). I am *sure* that there are people that thinks like this, but the other way around too.
Now this won't happen. The show is limited to be only a one day show that only deals with one part of the community/market. This will surely do magic to the numbers of visitors! You can put all the DVD's you want on that ticket lottery, it will still have little effect ...
Or perhaps this IS an error by the webadmins, or perhaps I DO need to get my eyes checked? |
