[Rant] Freedom of speech is no more on a popular Amiga site. | ANN.lu |

Today a so-called Amiga site which was supposed to allow freedom of speech has now become a exposed heavily censored website, webmasters acting like children insulting members of the site just because they stand up and say what they think.
I feel betrayed.

It is very difficult to sit by and see the level of delusion and conspiracy thought involved in this site.
Amiga.org is changing. We are placing new blocks online. We are also working on new options and features. After all, there is NO point in constantly showing the exact same link box which is populated by sites and people who've simply cheated for months to secure their position.
I have nothing against Amigaworld.net, nor DaveyD. You can keep all the zealots you can find. You are most certainly welcome to keep the head cheerleader, one Mr. Mike Bouma.
What I'm getting sick of is the petty stupidity I see going on here with thinking that I care enough about the existence of this site to manually delete records from our database.
For the record, I screwed up over the weekend while working with the database and deleted the records of over 150 of our linked sites. One of my link admins brought it to my attention and I restored from a backup. It's that damned simple. Ban me if you want. Delete this account for all I care, but your stupid attempts at self-importance are getting a bit tiresome. |
