Today a so-called Amiga site which was supposed to allow freedom of speech has now become a exposed heavily censored website, webmasters acting like children insulting members of the site just because they stand up and say what they think.
I feel betrayed.

Freedom of speech is no more on a popular Amiga site. : Comment 224 of 238 | ANN.lu |
Posted by Wayne Hunt on 08-Feb-2004 22:37 GMT | In reply to Comment 221 (Anonymous): I don't "accuse" anyone of anything. This incident is a long-forgotten fact.
I don't care (I don't have to) whether it was a member of their staff or not.
I don't owe you (or anyone else) a single bit of "evidence", because you're not entitled to any. They cheated, I changed the box to negate "their" cheating (though a lot of records DID get zeroed out, not just theirs). Let's see you pull a 12 month old server log out of your ass while we're at it.
I just think it's very sad that there is at least one anonymous nutsack out there more than willing to go to the extreme of trying to rekindle a long-dead incident between two sites that have -- for all intents and purposes -- buried the proverbial hatchet long ago.
(Since this thread is getting childish, allow me to lead the charge)
I have nothing against DaveyD. He "has nothing against me". As such, how is any of this anyone else's damned business? Oh, wait... It's not. It's just another lame ass troll living in mommy's basement who is apparently bored between kiddie porn downloads because Daddy won't spring for DSL.
Buck up little man, you'll kiss a girl some day (or perhaps a boy -- depending on your particular preference) and yes, I do mean someone aside from your sister (or obviously applicable sibling).
Put it away, turn on the lights, get outside, and have a nice day. |
