Today a so-called Amiga site which was supposed to allow freedom of speech has now become a exposed heavily censored website, webmasters acting like children insulting members of the site just because they stand up and say what they think.
I feel betrayed.

Freedom of speech is no more on a popular Amiga site. : Comment 229 of 238 | ANN.lu |
Posted by Big Red Troll on 09-Feb-2004 00:42 GMT | In reply to Comment 228 (Wayne Hunt): Okay Wayne, duing to the flow of insults you just let rip, I'll assume the following:
a) You don't like amigaworld.net, because they became so popular.
b) You don't like amigaworld.net, because it is "zealot central" - i.e. it has people such as the devil himself - MikeB - who visit it.
c) You don't like amigaworld.net because it got very popular, very quickly, very unexpectedly - so you thought you'd delete the link - citing a very old (no matter how plausible) "cheating" offence as the cause. It got members, you didn't like it - so you deleted the link. But you have "nothing against DaveyD", obviously.
Please, please cite any evidence you have that amigaworld.net "cheated" your link ratings. If you don't - I'll assume that you got very upset in the same way you did when Amiga chose PPC over x86. Oh wait... that opinion soon changed owing to your employment, didn't it?
I have to say I don't like some of the moderators on Amigaworld.net - but they're one hell of a lot more honest than you are Wayne.
Cheers.
But then again - cite all evidence you have against the obsessive "cheats" and "zealots" you have. Please. It would do us all a favour. |
