SEAL (South Essex Amiga Link) have posted some photos taken at the Newcastle OS 4 demo on their website. Included are two close-ups of the AmigaOne Lite boards which Eyetech have had made for potential developers.

my main concerns arent about OS4 - its all shaping up nicely.
no, the concerns are about that microATX board. VIA chipset? dear lord
no! not with all the problems that chipset has in the x86 world!
fan on the CPU? no no no. the joy of these boards is that they are supposed
to be passively cooled quiet systems!
oh, another thing, that small box the microATX is in.. the 2688,2699(?)
those AC/DC PSU's are only good for a small amount of stuff. they usually
cant cope with the addition of a CDWriter or DVD writer (just to prewarn people!) |
