never heard about vim, but sometime you need a text editor that run in
shell mode (for telnet and others things ...)
in this case vim dont fullfill the need at all
i gave it a try and wasnt able to do anything, even quit

EasyEdit is EASY, that's was it was created for
no need to learn enything, you simply press on ESC and you get some
txt menu which allow you to do plenty of things

i have nothing against vim, but i think it is only for already
vim-addicted people
