in fact i know vim, but under the name "vi", i used it at school on
txt terminals, so i confirm that its a real nightmare to learn
it is not easy to use, you have to know plenty of shortcuts else you
cant do anything with it

my goal was not to destroy your idea/project :)
its only that often i see news item about it advertising it as a great
text editor, when its a text editor for some geeks only(unusable for
most of people)

so it's good to talk about it and keep others informed
