I am currently being threatened by my former employer (they are "compelled [to] take action against [me]") for the way I am running ANN, and how this allegedly violates my employment contract with them ("interfere _in any manner_ with any business relationship between the Company and any of its customers or business partners"). This might entail drastic changes to the relative freedom of speech ANN has always allowed its visitors, or ANN might close down altogether. Updated 10:00 CET.

Very well said. I whole-heartedly support any attempts for a reunion of us Amigans. I think indeed we all should just try to ignore the troublemaking "leaders" and fanatics from each wing of the community and instead focus just onto ourselves, i.e. the developers, users and dealers.
Let everyone enjoy his preferred flavour of amigaish OS and let us all together adore the good old times and the common things we like about our operating systems - which all originate from our collective girl-friend, the Commodore Amiga. |
