I am currently being threatened by my former employer (they are "compelled [to] take action against [me]") for the way I am running ANN, and how this allegedly violates my employment contract with them ("interfere _in any manner_ with any business relationship between the Company and any of its customers or business partners"). This might entail drastic changes to the relative freedom of speech ANN has always allowed its visitors, or ANN might close down altogether. Updated 10:00 CET.

Legal threats? : Comment 853 of 1057 | ANN.lu |
Posted by T_Bone on 08-Apr-2004 20:17 GMT | In reply to Comment 849 (takemehomegrandma): For me it's not about the nonpayment. I can see how that could happen in possible good faith, I don't see how threating the victims is good faith however.

> "stumbling" while trying to recover is part of that.
By stepping on people to regain footing? I don't buy that, and can't respect that at all. The problem should be fixed, not covered up. Chris is an unfortunate victim, that should be restituted when possible, not a problem that needs to be dealt with as if he were an enemy.
Genesi's not winning any converts by threatening the people they should be apologetic towards. I keep hearing how Genesi should be allowed to act in good faith to try and repay Christian, but how is that supposed to happen when genesi insists on keeping an agressive posture towards him? that doesn't sound like good faith that should be let to happen, to me.
I notice some are changing their minds... if there's some inside info that would change minds about this, why isn't it part of the response? What does Polyhead know that I don't? |
