We were approached by a non-Amiga company, USB-Pendrive.co.uk to test the USB Bar for a number of weeks on our Amigas.
The result is this review.
Check it out if you fancy an alternative to ancient floppy disks on your Amiga.
Our website is also in the process of getting a complete facelift and overhaul- we hope you like the changes that have been made.

SWAUG REVEW: USB BAR : Comment 21 of 31 | ANN.lu |
Posted by Ronald St-Maurice on 27-Apr-2004 09:06 GMT | In reply to Comment 20 (Rich Woods): sure is - figure I paid $89 for a 512K - so $180 for a Gig - $350 for 2 gigs and $700 for 4 gigs. Forget the routine of higher costs etc for higher mem availability. 1/2 a gig of memory storage - how much does the average person really need?
Think convenience. I can bring over huge amounts of info when I go to over to someone's place. And it's even smaller than an iPod Mini. Fits on a keychain. Doesn't need a PCMCIA slot, no need to open up the hood nor a FireWire added card.
IMO 512 MBs isn't enough. It's not even the size of a regular CD-ROM (700 MBs). I hope they hurry up and bring the price of the 4gigs USB key down. :D |
