After buying a window tower, I decided to gather all the Amiga bits and bobs that have been kicking around and build another A1200T.
The project so far can be read about here.

My A1200 Tower Conversion : Comment 8 of 12 | ANN.lu |
Posted by Anonymous Orc on 03-May-2004 20:01 GMT | hmmm. i think i'll have to give this a 'neat' for inventive creativity.
by mounting it this way around, you can still use the ports (simply use short
M-F cables to break out to rear of PC) AND with a plain 80mm case fan you can blow loads of cool air over the BPPC/BV . something you cant do with the
usual format!
I'd use a IDE buffer of Elbox/Powerflyer for the IDE and keep to short distance
standard IDE cables though...even short round ones would be ideal! dont have long cables. that way lie data corruptions. |
