Finally, after more than a month, the video from the AROS presentation at the AmiGBG 2004 fair is available for download! For those that don't understand Swedish (or who can't hear what's said), subtitles are provided (which is one reason why it took so long to produce the video).
Lot's of thanks to Älgtjur Filmproduktion for filming the presentation, Carl Drougge for the editing, and myself for doing the subtitles. ;-) Oh, and ofcourse to the AmiGBG guys for arranging the fair!

Video of AROS presentation at AmiGBG online! : Comment 13 of 15 | ANN.lu |
Posted by LjL on 17-May-2004 10:04 GMT | Since we're talking about AROS, there is something I'm wondering about... with all the freeware/shareware there is on AmiNET, why has so little been open-sourced and ported to AROS (or at least just open-sourced)?
Are all the authors of software often written many years ago still so sensitive abou their source code, or simply nobody asked them, or can't they be contacted anymoe, or what?
After all, AmigaOS has an impressing software base (although modern applications are somewhat missing), and one would expect more people donating their share/free/whateverware to AROS. |
