The Amiga can no longer be called a "dead platform". While some may regret the forking, for a small community with a very small budget to produce three working operating systems is a sign of considerable determination and creativity.
I guess the only people who can really appreciate how much work the Hyperion team has done are the MorphOS team, who have been doing almost the same job.
If everyone can keep up the momentum for another couple of years, customers will have some very good products to choose from, and developers will have some good platforms to code for. Some, such as the author of Hollywood, are there already. |
