Ambient Featurelist! (MorphOS) : Comment 19 of 64 | ANN.lu |
Posted by Anonymous on 08-Jun-2004 03:23 GMT | In reply to Comment 3 (Anonymous): The Ambient HAS the Amiga look and feel in every aspect, but in some
areas the Ambient version in MorphOS 1.4 (v1.29) was not developed
quite as far (and in other areas Ambient has already passed WB). The
Ambient prefs way is the MUI way of handling prefs. IMO the MUI way is
preferrable because it gives a much better overview to be able to set
every aspect of the prefs from one single application/window instead
of having to run one prefs application for every thing you want to set
(รก la Windows). Of course they tried to copy the Workbench (at least
in the beginning - now it's obviously PASSING workbench and becoming
so much more), because MorphOS is an Amiga OS re-implementation, it's
not BeOS, MacOS or anything else, but an AMIGA re-implementation! :)
It is obvious that Ambient in MorphOS 1.5 will be a KILLER! :) |
