Here, you can find a new list of the features available in the current
development
version of ambient. It gives an idea about what to expect
in MorphOS 1.5.

No it's not IMHO. The Blizzards/Cyberstorms is not a future path, they are *nothing* to build a future upon. They are dying of age, they are underspecced, and they only runs on even older systems with loads of hacks and patches added to them. From an OS POV, it's only interesting to provide an OS to these cards in order to suck in the few developers that won't upgrade to the NG hardware.
Besides, the situation for MorphOS and OS4 on these cards is exactly the same AFAIK; both OS's runs on these cards but only a select few have access to them. However, it is said that both will be released to the public at a yet to be announced date. That is, both OS's currently runs (in some way) on this hardware, none of them is publically available yet, but both will be at some time. |
