What a PPC linux kernel hacker thinks about the Articia : Comment 3 of 68 | ANN.lu |
Posted by coldfire on 14-Jun-2004 22:58 GMT | That's actually an interesting read. It appears that the "bug" is actually a feature! It appears it makes certain ways of doing things with DMA impossible and should never have been done that way on a PPC processor. Maybe they were used to dealing with X86?
