With this mail I want to thank everyone (bPlan, Genesi, MorphOS developer team and all the volunteers) involved into the PegasosII and MorphOS for keeping up the good old Amiga spirit and showing us the future for Amiga. Big thanks to all of you who you spent all the years onto the Amiga and finally found a new real path for the Amiga. For me as user PegasosII and MorphOS is everything that I want to see a modern Amiga should be. Quite modern and affordable Hardware, a nice clean and fast Operating System and all the developers and 3rd party people heavily supporting it. Without you the Amiga would still be a dead thing but with all you people we are happy to look forward into a nice future.
Thanks again.

Thanks to everyone involved. : Comment 66 of 137 | ANN.lu |
Posted by Sammy Nordström on 21-Jun-2004 10:38 GMT | In reply to Comment 64 (Bill Hoggett): I'm trying to get you to understand that not everyone agrees that "MOS is the only real AOS" and stating it as a matter of fact is not only factually wrong, but also rather provocative against those of us that prefer the one and only OS that actually has the legal right to be called AmigaOS(TM) rather than simply complying with what some people think an Amiga should or shouldn't be.
Now, you're of course fully entitled to your opinion about your preferred choice of OS, just please restrain yourself from stating your opinions as a matter of fact and provocing everyone with a different point of view than your own. I'm tired of hearing certain people complaining at those of us with AmigaOS as the preferred choice for flaming and trolling on MorphOS related threads. Comments such as yours is what attracts those trolls and flamers, you know. Keep it up if you like, just keep the consquences of your actions in mind, ok? |
