Hum, Karl Popper.... I have not heard that name since the time I was student :¬) Well, anyway, Popper is right, because that's the true scientific spirit. As I said in the same message you were quoting "of course, [a theory] will remain open to further theories and tests that could change the results - that's the way Science works". A theory is accepted until someone else postulates a new, and usually more complete, theory. For example, in cosmology: Aristarco of Samos -> Copernico -> Galileo -> Kepler -> Newton -> Einstein ->...
