Aros-Exec Reports that Michael Schulz have just commited his recent changes to ata.device. As promised, this update includes basic UDMA support together with some fixes (LBA48 harddrives work now as expected, and the drive capacities up to 2^57 bytes are supported).

The device is in the kernel image, you'd need to relink the kernel to get it in... nothing a normal user can do, I'm afraid. On the other hand, if you're used to compile AROS by yourself, it's quite easy. |
