I saw news item somewhere - 'Blackshoot' is a 2D shoot'em up written with AmiBlitz 2 supporting graphics and sound cards. Versions for AmigaOS 3 and AmigaOS 4 are available. - So what's te catch? Is there AmiBlitz for OS4? Is it possible to convert PerfectPaint (written in AmiBlitz) for OS4?

No.. There isn't a version of AmiBlitz specific to AmigaOS4. The AOS4 version of Blackshoot just uses OS calls for the mouse clicks instead of polling the hardware.

Uhh.. so out of interest, why doesn't the OS3 version use that too? :)

It's really quite stupid to release software that bangs the hardware these
days, if you have an alternative (considering your 68k software can run on any
of 5 different "platforms" now..)
