We are about to release an update version of "The Player" a popular MOD replay routine used in many demos and games. We need help from owners of 040/060 equiped Amigas to test the new routine. In particular, we're hunting for a nasty and elusive bug!! If you would like to help up, please download the following LHA archive (about 25k in size) where you can find test programs and detailed instruction!! Any help or feedback will be appreciated!! Thank you very very much in advance!!!

Isn't this a bit stupid, instead of simply updating your code to the *official* and *public* source code that fixed the A4000/040/060 bug six (!) years ago (by NoName and me). I mean, how can your solution be better than doing the RightThing(TM), which is only extra one instruction.
