If computers were made by car manufacturers, who would be making the Amiga, Pegasos and PC respectfully? Is the PC a Lada or one of those Soviet cars? ;)

Yes, right. We could compare Trabbie to Tandy Radio Shack.


Hum. The TRS *was* well-enough regarded in its lifetime, mostly in hacking and hobbyist circles (plenty of Amateur Radio usage, for one thing)... somewhere between a cube van, an old pickup truck, and a Model T (like the PET, but certain -80s could eventually run CP/M). You could call the Model 100 the first motorcycle, though that might've been a repackage of a Japanese design.
