I wouldn't describe it as "big" - I would prefer a board with more PCI slots. My idea of a big board is the A2000 motherboard.
The A1s sold so far are really development boards sold at what is a very low price for a development board. This would be a high price for a consumer product. The OS is also at the stage when an OS is released for developers, not for consumers (as Hyperion made clear by calling it a developer pre-release).
Unfortunately most Amiga developers do not have a proper development budget, and cannot expect sales to cover the cost of such a board. |
