But I did not speak about companies, I was talking about HARDWARE. Difference!

Now THAT would have been suicide, since that one is all they have! It's the only card they have to play, and early on they put everything (including their reputation) on that single card by proclaiming this is the only possible path for the new "Amiga".
They will not sell the "professional" version of the board with G4, which is interesting. They claim it to be because of heat, but the 7447 and the 7447A are COOLER than the GX, AND it has Altivec. 1.3GHz Mac laptops does not even start the fan when normal web surfing, totally passive.
We all know that the Articia and G4 CPU's are not 100% buddies. If you are lucky you may find a combination that work well enough in the eyes of an Amiga Nerd, but not for serious, professional usage.
