Amigaworld.net is currently down due to hard drive failure.
Everything possible is being done to return the site to normal, however we are unable to give an ETA at this time.
In the meantime, the Amigaworld IRC network continues to function via the remaining US and European Amigaworld Servers
They are:-
UK.Amigaworld.Net
US2.Amigaworld.Net
NO.Amigaworld.Net
Updates will continue to be posted here as and when we know.

So please, tell me which is your native language? Chinese perhaps, as
you seem to be unaware of the custom to capitalise the first letter in
a sentence? Anyway, your style of writing, although it is
quite annoying, is probably better than average. My problem is not
that people don't write perfectly, but that they (you included) don't
even *try* to make posts readable. That means reading takes more
time, and when there is already very little information to get, it
really becomes a waste of time.

Because I get personal attacks when I ask simple questions, etc.
Threads are deleted when anything interesting turns up. Re-read my
comment 71.

This varies. Sometimes it's obviously just because it contains
uncomfortable information. Personal attacks are dealt with completely
differently depending on who gets attacked. Anyway, it makes no sense
to remove perfectly valid comments just because someone else in the
thread makes a transgression. In fact this seems like a common tactic
from AW.net visitors to get "unpleasant" threads removed, by making
them degenerate into flamefests. So then, no one can read the
interesting bits before the flaming, either. Mission accomplished..

Yep, I respect you for that.

I doubt that. For example, making the claim (as I do) that the DMA in
the Articia is broken, seems to be considered as "flames" no matter
how nicely you put it. |
