Amigaworld.net is currently down due to hard drive failure.
Everything possible is being done to return the site to normal, however we are unable to give an ETA at this time.
In the meantime, the Amigaworld IRC network continues to function via the remaining US and European Amigaworld Servers
They are:-
UK.Amigaworld.Net
US2.Amigaworld.Net
NO.Amigaworld.Net
Updates will continue to be posted here as and when we know.

Amigaworld.net down : Comment 105 of 281 | ANN.lu |
Posted by Don Cox on 03-Sep-2004 11:31 GMT | In reply to Comment 102 (Johan Rönnblom): "My problem is not
that people don't write perfectly, but that they (you included) don't
even *try* to make posts readable. That means reading takes more
time, and when there is already very little information to get, it
really becomes a waste of time."
Yes, but as soon as you see that kind of writing, you can skip to the next post, because the content is never worth the struggle. So you save time, really. The writer has put up a useful flag marked "Don't read this."
I don't know of any European language that doesn't begin sentences with capitals. |
