Well Garry Hare has had his chance and blew it. The Amiga community deserves better than another fake company, who can not even managed to deliver some cheap T-shirts as promised.

Years to deliver T-shirts? but people still have faith in them.

Some possibilities:

* Someone (Garry Hare himself or whoever told him) intentionally lied about the T-shirts being printed just to be able to generate a feel-good buzz at AmiWest.
* Garry Hare didn't lie purposely, but internal disorganization has prevented the T-shirts from being printed and delivered or even an apology/explanation sent.
* KMOS *could* deliver the T-shirts, but has higher priorities (than establishing credibility among its only customer base to date).

There's no "good" reason for KMOS's performance, and people who expect nothing from the company but instead are banking on Hyperion and Eyetech to carry the (boing) ball probably have the right idea. KMOS has, so far, succeeded only in demonstrating how little difference a change in ownership can make. Good luck to the people actually doing something with the platform; hopefully they won't have to deal much with KMOS/Amiga, Inc.
