No updates for ages, outages... is Aminet dead or dying?
You'd think if it were to be euthanised, the maintainers would at least bother to tell us!..
Perhaps they could release a "Goodbye to Aminet" DVD with the contents of Aminet on it? Would one DVD do? :)

There are plans, but need to either get conscent from Aminet admins or wait for they to either say they will abandon it officially or continue it and be willing to expand to fit modern needs. (dependencies, platform/os, better searching, better upload and update of indexes etc..) |
